Shot Hawk is owned and operated by siblings Krystal and Trevor Husband. They were born and raised on Haida Gwaii, and are Gitxsan on their Father's side and Cree on their Mother's side.
"This photo was the inspiration for the Shot Hawk logo and brand. The caption read "When life is hard being indigenous but your ancestors didn't raise no b!#@h." I found this very inspiring, to be able to carry on with your day to day work despite having the arrow of colonial trauma causing you pain. I feel like it's a good symbol to encourage resilience.
